Community Support

Kalamunda Kickboxing & Martial Arts in the Community

Here at Kalamunda Kickboxing and Martial Arts we have a long and proud history of extensive involvement in both our local community and the greater Perth area.

We conduct regular self-defence workshops at local schools including Kalamunda Senior High School, Mazenod College and St. Brigids College. We also work with the education support unit at Kalamunda Senior High School to provide self-defence workshops to disadvantaged students. As a part of our close relationship with the Kalamunda Shire, we also conduct regular school holiday programmes for children and take an active role in local fetes and carnivals.

Through our regular “Fight Night” events packages we conduct fun, family focused, martial arts competitions and invite members of the community to witness first hand the skills and fitness that our students develop through their training with us. These events are made possible through sponsorship by local businesses, with whom we maintain close ties. We are also proud of our relationship with local charities and, in the past, proceeds from these events have been used to support Princess Margaret Hospital for Children and the Guide Dogs Association of Western Australia.

We are also proud to be a recognised organisation of KidSport to help parents and children in the shire area receive grants towards their sporting activity here.

Far from being just another martial arts school, Kalamunda Kickboxing and Martial Arts is a family and community oriented organisation – and proud of it!
